Plainfield Public Library

We are proud to share highlights of our Fine Art Collection with our browsers and researchers. There are approximately 40 works in the library's fine-art collection, including three original works by Winslow Homer. Most of these are on display throughout the library.

FastFact:

The watercolor Looking over the cliff is the library's most often reproduced work. It has been reproduced
in the book "The Watercolors of Winslow Homer." For security reasons, all three works are stored off-site,
but now they can be viewed and enjoyed online.
