Be First to Get the New Books and DVDs

When entering the library, Plainfield Public Library users can now get a quick look at new book, audiobook and DVD arrivals via the New Annoucements Display Kiosk. The computer terminal is located directly behind the information desk near the videocassette shelves in the front of the library.

Updated monthly, the kiosk provides information on selected new arrivals at the library, as well as a sneak-peak of books, DVDs, and audiobooks on order. The May/June announcements include many of the fifty unabridged audiobooks purchased through a generous gift of the Friends of the Plainfield Public Library.

Additionally, general information announcements and library hours are provided for the convenience of our users.
