FOPPL Meeting
The Friends of the Plainfield Public Library invite you to a very special Annual Meeting. On Tuesday, May 20th, at 7pm, President Sandy Spector will discuss plans for a new summer family event: “Beer, Blues & BBQ Discovery”, to be held on June 1st at Pillars B&B. She will also announce the site for the annual Wine Discovery fundraiser.
Library awards will be presented to Bernice Paglia, Paul Pinkman, and the Literacy Advisory Committee. Library Director Joe Da Rold will report on the library’s recent oral history project "Latinos In Conversation." A reception will follow.

The 1st Annual Beer, Blues & BBQ Discovery
From 1 to 4pm on Sunday, June 1, 2008, enjoy the live soulful sounds of "Barry Blues and Guests," sample a wide variety of award-winning, specialty and seasonal brews from around the world, and feast on your favorite summertime BBQ foods! This event is presented by the Friends of the Plainfield Public Library and will be hosted by Pillars B&B.
