Reference

The Plainfield Public Library, during library hours, has a highly trained reference staff to answer a wide range of questions using a variety of print and electronic resources. The reference staff will answer questions in person, over the phone, or through email (Ask A Question). If you need help with finding your ancestors, the library has resources, both print and electronic, to help with your search.

The library subscribes to online databases that provide full text newspaper and magazine articles, as well as business, medical, historical, and car repair information. The library also provides free audio book downloads through the ListenNJ service. The links above will lead you to local and regional resources for questions and help.
