About the Contest

Our 6th Annual Photograph Contest exhibition "Plainfield...On The Go!" reflects various aspects of life all around the city of Plainfield.

The 2011 competition met with the enthusiastic response of 15 contributors who entered 66 images of Plainfield. Their photographs will help build our Local History photography archive. All 66 entries have been digitized, and will be added to Plainfield Public Library's Historical Photograph Collection, which consists of over 108,000 area images taken from 1865 through 2011.
