About the Contest

Our 8th Annual Photograph Contest exhibition Plainfield Celebrates! reflects various aspects of family and community celebration all around the city of Plainfield.

The 2013 competition met with the enthusiastic response of 13 contributors who entered 53 images of Plainfield. Their photographs will help build our Local History photography archive. All 53 entries have been digitized, indexed, and added to Plainfield Public Library's Historical Photograph Collection, which consists of over 100,000 area photographs taken from 1865 through 2013.
