About the Contest

Our 10th Annual Photograph Contest exhibition Plainfield: Taking Care of Business presents businesses and people working from all around the city of Plainfield.

The 2015 competition met with the enthusiastic response of 17 contributors who entered 79 images of Plainfield. These photographs will help build our Local History photograph archive. All 79 entries have been digitized, indexed, and added to Plainfield Public Library's Historical Photograph Collection, which consists of over 50,000 area photographs taken from 1865 through 2015.
