Pat Ballard Fox
Pat Ballard Fox was born in Hampton, VA. She is a resident of Scotch Plains and has spent much of her life near the border of Plainfield. During the years 1998-2005 she was the Economic Development Director for Plainfield and is currently a Project Management & Economic Development Consultant.

Angela Bayak was born in 1984 in Perth Amboy, NJ. Currently a student and a daycare supervisor, she is a South Plainfield resident. She studied photography at DuCret School of Art and graduated in 2006 and plans to pursue a career in photography.

Carlos Cardozo was born in 1961 in Ecuador and is a resident of Plainfield.
He had no prior photography competition experience when he entered the In Focus Contest.

Richard Carlin was born in 1956 in Paterson, NJ and currently resides in Glen Ridge, NJ. He is an amateur photographer, editor and author of books on music.

José Manuel Cruz was born in Newark, NJ and is currently a resident and art teacher in Plainfield. He has been taking photos since high school. He describes himself as spontaneous and a lover of the Arts.

Dan Damon was born in 1939 in Dunkirk, NY. A retired Public Information Officer for the City of Plainfield, he has also been a resident of Plainfield since 1983. Dan Damon is an amateur photographer who maintains a blog of Plainfield.

Claudia Delgado
Claudia Delgado was born in 1981 in Bolivia. She is a resident of Plainfield and a student at Kean University majoring in Communication. She gained her first photography experience in school. She works only in black and white film and does her own darkroom developing.

Angela Flores
Angela Flores was born in the Dominican Republic and was originally from New York City. She lives in Plainfield and works for the Plainfield Head Start Program. She began taking photos at home thirteen years ago when her first child was born. Her love of photography and Plainfield has influenced at least one (Ashley) of three daughters, who also participated in the In Focus photo contest.

Ashley Flores was born in 1992 in Brooklyn, NY. She is a resident of Plainfield and a student at Plainfield High School with an interest in photography.

Paul LeGrand
Paul LeGrand was born in 1957 in Plainfield, NJ and raised in Plainfield as well. He is a kitchen and bath installer and an avid amateur photographer and collector of old postcards. A current project is duplicating the images on the old postcards with current photos he has taken. His photograph of the North Avenue Scene not only gave him a second place finish, but also the honor of being chosen as the new Plainfield postcard.

Dawn Lyerly-Cruz was born in Newark, NJ and has been a resident of Plainfield for eight years. She works in Medical Billing.

Allison McWilliams
Allison McWilliams was born in Plainfield in 1988 and has lived in town her entire life. She has had her amateur work shown at Mount Saint Mary Academy and the Alonzo Adams Gallery. She is a Freshman at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Georgia.

William Monroe
William Monroe was born in 1948 in Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY and has been a resident of Plainfield for 56 years. He is a carpenter and an amateur photographer who has “a place in his heart for the beautiful places in Plainfield.” This love captured him a first place win in the contest with his image of the Netherwood Train Station at Christmas.

Louise Patillo was born in 1941 in Clinton, NJ. She is a lifelong resident of Plainfield and a retired research specialist. Photography is a hobby for Louise Patillo. She wanted to preserve the historical significance of Missionary Baptist church (built in 1918) as part of 21st Century Plainfield.

Louise Pinkowski was born in 1959 in Dusseldorf, Germany. She studied Photography at RIT and is currently attending the DuCret School of Art. After working in magazines for the last 25 years she is now starting her own photography business.
