About the Contest

Our 7th Annual Photography Contest exhibition "Plainfield: Eating Out / Eating In" reflects various aspects of food and dining around the city of Plainfield.

The 2012 competition met with the enthusiastic response of 13 contributors who entered 56 images of Plainfield. Their photographs will help build our Local History photography archive. All 56 entries have been digitized, and will be added to Plainfield Public Library's Historical Photograph Collection, which consists of over 108,000 area images taken from 1865 through 2012.
