About the Contest

Our 9th Annual Photograph Contest exhibition Roofs, Chimneys & Architectural Details of Plainfield reflects various aspects of architecture and building design all around the city of Plainfield.

The 2014 competition met with the enthusiastic response of 26 contributors who entered 87 images of Plainfield. Congratulations to all entrants for the uniformly high quality of photographs and creativity!

Their photographs will help build our Local History photography archive. All 87 entries have been digitized, indexed, and added to Plainfield Public Library's Historical Photograph Collection, which consists of over 50,000 area photographs taken from 1865 through 2014.
