Historical Newspaper Collection

Plainfield Public Library holds a broad collection of newspapers in print and microfilm. This Local History finding aid is organized by title and date. The guide details coverage within our collection including the start and end dates of publications held and the frequency of each. There are gaps in our collection that are noted in the table at the bottom of the page. The Local History department welcomes the donation of even single issues of newspapers that would add to the breadth of its collection.
